Holding and redeeming

Redeeming units

You ask the payer, on the payer's own page.

Redeeming units is the payer's process: the CRYMAD engine's for a gateway asset, the issuer's for an asset with its own issuer. The Redeem page of a holding shows the payer's terms as the payer states them, advises, and hands you to the payer's own page.

The payer keeps the queue, burns the units and pays you. VORUNEX holds nothing, burns nothing and pays no one. It reads the burn from the chain and shows what the payer reports about the payment, with the payer named beside it.

Selling units to another person happens on a licensed partner venue, never on VORUNEX: VORUNEX runs no market, holds no money and settles nothing. The Sell page of a holding shows whether an approved venue lists the asset and what that venue reports, and hands you to the venue's own page where our link to it is switched on. Where no approved venue lists the asset, the page says so and shows no price.
